Which Pro Should You Go (For)? XROS Pro vs XLIM Pro vs Gotek Pro

Three of the most popular pod kits at the moment. But which one should you buy? Well, it depends on what you’re after. Our staff have rated them out of 5 on some of the important aspects, to get you informed before you make your decision!

Battery

These rankings reflect the battery life of each kit nicely. The Gotek Pro leads the way with a massive 1500mAh battery in such a small pod kit! The XROS Pro has 1200mAh and the XLIM Pro has 1000mAh.

Ease of use

• XROS Pro – 4.3
• XLIM Pro – 4.2

The Gotek Pro again leads the way in this category which makes sense, because there is only adjustable airflow, no power changing on the Gotek Pro. Both the XROS & XLIM kits have adjustable power and airflow, which means they are slightly more complex. Although, that does allow for more personalising of your experience.

Pods

The XROS Pro leads the way in terms of pods. The reasoning is two fold, the range of pods is better, covering 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω and 1.2Ω. The XROS pods also tend to last the best from our experience, which is probably why they’re rated the highest! The XLIM pods cover  0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω & a 1.2Ω. Again a very solid range. The Gotek Pro at the moment only has a 0.8Ω Gotek pod which fits in there, however that may change soon with a 0.6Ω pod rumoured to be coming soon!

Style

All three kits are very stylish in my opinion. The XLIM Pro just about takes our staff vote here. The new colours that have recently dropped are very nice, and the gleamy colours are also very smart! The XROS Pro also looks good, and the Gotek Pro (to me) is a massive improvement on the original Gotek in terms of style, and build quality.

Flavour

The XROS Pro was given 5/5 by all of our staff in this category. The XROS pods over superb flavour, particularly when paired with our Bar Salts. The Gotek pods & XLIM Pods aren’t too far behind in terms of flavour. They still offer a great flavour experience, even if in our opinion, the XROS pods lead the way.

The Gotek Pro comes in at £24.99 which is the cheapest of the three ‘Pro’ kits. That offers great value for money given the size of the battery. The XLIM Pro is rated the same by our staff. Despite being a bit more expensive at £29.99, it has many more features including adjustable power using it’s sleek screen. This still offers great value for money. The most expensive of the bunch is the XROS Pro clocking in at £34.99. It does have lots of great features which potentially justify it being more expensive than the other two.
